Digital Backpack

For 4th - 8th grade, we have put together a simple, highly effective summer math plan using IXL.  Our goal this summer is for every student to practice and master 10 essential math skills before the new school year begins.  Instead of a one-size-fits-all assignment, IXL uses your child's MAP results to pinpoint the exact areas where they are ready to grow. This means some skills will strengthen them with new challenges, while others will reinforce concepts they are close to mastering. Here is how it works:

• Log In: Your child will use their existing IXL username and password.

• The Targets: Their 10 personalized MAP-aligned skills will be waiting for them right on their dashboard. You can find them highlighted under the "Study Plan- Personal NWEA MAP Growth Study Plan," on the right side of their Student Dashboard.

• The Goal: Aim for a SmartScore of 80 (Proficiency) for each of the 10 skills. If your child wants an extra challenge, they can strive for a score of 100 (Mastery)!
